Competition Guidelines
- No entry fee
- Submit play online (we walk the talk of sustainability!)
- Original work only
- Plays should be typed; a standard play format should be consistently used
- Play must be received by 31 March 2010 at 11:59PM
- Plays will be judged anonymously to ensure fairness – all personal information should be in the entry form only and should not be found within the play entry.
Play Guidelines
- 5 to 30 pages in length , 12-point Courier font
- Must clearly and creatively address aspects of social, economic, and/or environmental sustainability (please see “Ideas” section)
- Maximum six characters
- Written for a general audience (e.g. no jargon)
- Any identification of the participant(s)’ name(s) should only appear on the entry form and not in the body of the play
- Any outside sources consulted (e.g. Statistics Canada) must be listed in a consistent format in a references section at the end of the play; this section will not be counted within the page limit
- Any plagiarism or misconduct will result in disqualification.
